Yesterday my sister asked me: wat is the one thing you would want to eliminate from the face of the earth? (typical Miss India/World question)
Me: World Peace (phataak se I answered)
My sis: huh??
Me: there would be no fun if there is no terrorism. Imagine a world with no country accusing the other country for all the bombings and the killings that are taking place!! No news about Sri Lanka, no allegations on Pakistan for not carrying out proper investigations, no war between Israel and Palestine... and what about the media?? They'll stop earning, u see the amount of unemployement that will be generated due to world peace. And moreover, until and unless u r living on the edge wat's the point in living. Right!! Doesn't the fact that you cud die tomorrow make u live ur life to the fullest today. There would be no fun in living a life without fear, that is why terrorism is essential. :)
(Caution: Please don't believe watever u've read, i certainly don't believe in this philosophy)
If you miss out reading the "Caution" thing, then you would be in a great shock just like me.
ReplyDeleteoye jassi jassi oye...
ReplyDeleteThis philosophy does have loopholes mind you
1. The thing about the media... well I am sure the media has plenty of kids fallen into trap holes... half man half fish... and astronumerozorozodiaco babas to cover their breaking news sections
2. You forgot to mention the fact that there will be no more recessions like the one we are facing right now. Terrorism means someone is always there for America to attack, means that big corporate hotshots in the Umreecan place are always churning out arms and robbing the developing world, which means no slowdown there. which in turn means that no slowdown for the rest of the world.
3. 2 above implies you don't ever have to worry about your job also. :) .
4. No terrorism means no more office chit chats, no more stock market crashings.
The implications are endless. Although the thought in itself is scary, the overall consequences do look quite appealing.
CAUTION:
Didn't you already read one?? Go read it again.
1) Wen i mentioned media, i didnt really mean only media. It also included the defence services, the armament industry etc etc... and ofcourse they'll have other news, but still the chunk of the news will go and that wud lead to closing down of many media houses.
ReplyDelete2)agreed
3)no job cuts means no living the life on the edge (already mentioned-- everyone want a job!!)
4)totally absolutely agreed...:)
(refer caution again)
